when i think about it, the fact i use this website so regularly disappoints me.

there’s literally nothing to it. its mindless. i sit and i scroll and i see words upon words and pictures upon pictures just to occasionally smirk or feel a bit inspired. my contributions aren’t exactly worthwhile either.there isn’t really a way to justify it at all.

i’ve contemplated whether its for the people before, and i guess in a sense it is. it always seems like that you can more easily bond because you find you have similar interests. but what’s the point when the person lives hundreds of miles away? it just doesn’t make sense to be making these somewhat strong relationships with people who you will probably never meet and who probably don’t replicate your feeling of friendship.

what makes it worse is that i can see all this. i understand that i’m wasting my time in an unproductive way. i understand that i hold some people on the internet in a higher regard who i’ve known for years. i understand how utterly stupid i am being. yet here i am, still sitting in front of my computer screen.

its just frustrating because there are so many more ways i could have spent the majority of the past two years, but i chose to spend it mindlessly surfing the internet.
